The Portes du Soleil ski area is one of the biggest winter playgrounds in the world, with 12 linked resorts on either side of the French-Swiss border. In the heart of the french and swiss Alps, the ski area is located between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, skiers come for the excellent snowfall - more than 8 metres every year!
The Portes du Soleil offers 400 km² of skiing and 286 pistes: 32 black, 101 red, 119 blue and 34 green. It also has 196 ski lifts and 30 snowparks/ bordercross/ ski-cross.

In summer, trails lead through green forests and meadows, and up to Mont d’Arbois for panoramic views.
